Mike is responsible for maintaining training techniques, procedures, and standards for the Fargo Flight School as required by the FAA. He is also a company instructor and check pilot for Fargo Jet Center’s Charter Operations.

Mike is a licensed Airline Transport Pilot with land and sea authorizations. He also holds an FAA Gold Seal Instructor Certificate and is authorized as a Designated Pilot Examiner.

Mike is an aviation lecturer at the North Dakota State University (NDSU), Fargo, ND, and serves as a Pilot Examiner and Safety Counselor for the Fargo FAA Flight Standards District Office (FSDO). Additionally, he recently renewed his designation as a Master Certificated Flight Instructor (MCFI) with the National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI).
