June 18, 2026 (Fargo, ND) | ICE Crystal Engineering was named the North Dakota Trade Office (NDTO)’s 2025 Exporter of the Year during the 2026 Global Business Awards luncheon. NDTO’s Exporter of the Year Award recognizes a business that has expanded into new international markets, increased its export sales during the past year, and supported the larger, statewide effort to expand North Dakota’s global reach.

In 2025, ICE Crystal Engineering nearly doubled its production of cloud seeding flares, compared to 2024. Flares were exported to seven countries spanning four continents, requiring the navigation of complex regulatory frameworks, logistics and supply chain demands. The company also tripled its workforce in 2025, increasing the ability to meet customer demand while bringing skilled manufacturing and technical jobs to the Kindred, North Dakota community where the company is based. Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, the team at ICE continues to add new technologies into the manufacturing process and research new innovations in cloud seeding material.
