March 5, 2023 (Fargo, ND) Darren Hall, vice president of business development for Fargo Jet Center and sister companies Premier Jet Center and Exclusive Aircraft Sales, has received the prestigious National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Silk Scarf Award.

Darren was nominated and selected for this award to honor his many years of significant contributions and positive impact on the business aviation industry. As noted by the NBAA Press Release:

“He began his career with Pietsch Flying Service in the late 1980s, later starting and managing Fargo Jet Center’s line service department. He rose through the ranks at the company into his current executive role.

Hall served on the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Committee from 2005-2012 and was chairman of the committee in 2011. He has also served in a leadership role for the Fargo Airsho planning committee and volunteers at the Fargo Air Museum.

He is also immediate past chair of the North Dakota Aviation Association, which in 2022 received the Outstanding Excellence by a Local or Regional Group award from NBAA at the association’s convention in Orlando, FL.”

“Darren’s passion for aviation, desire to help others, and countless hours of volunteerism have made a lasting impression and inspired many individuals to find their paths and get involved within this remarkable industry. He leads by example and sets the tone for what’s possible,” says Kindra Mahler, marketing manager. “We are incredibly grateful to have Darren as a part of our team and as a mentor to many in our organization and the aviation community,” adds Mahler.

Darren was presented with this award at the North Dakota Aviation Association (NDAA) Fly-ND Conference on March 5, 2023, by NBAA Regional Representative, Kristi Ivey.
