FARGO JET CENTER HOSTED PROJECT LAUNCH MEETINGS WITH POLISH EMS OPERATOR LOTNICZE POGOTOWIE RATUNKOWE (LPR) AND SPECTRUM AEROMED
March 24, 2020 (Fargo, ND) Throughout February, Fargo Jet Center (FJC) hosted project launch meetings with Polish EMS operator Lotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe (LPR) and Spectrum Aeromed to develop highly-customized medical interiors for LPR’s recent order of two Bombardier Learjet 75 aircraft.
Exclusive Aircraft Sales, FJC’s aircraft sales division, in conjunction with FJC’s maintenance and engineering experts, participated in an 18-month long bid process to support LPR’s mission to add the first two jet aircraft to their fleet of helicopters and turboprop aircraft.
“In the course of the tendering procedure, FJC showed great dedication and willingness to deliver the best product to meet the requirements of LPR and allow for increasing the quality and availability of the provided health services and safety”, says Wojciech Woźniczka, LPR director’s representative for key project management.
The agreement with LPR goes well beyond a standard acquisition agreement. FJC will be providing support for the operation for five years including flight and medical cabin training, custom medical cabin design and modifications, and maintenance and warranty support once both aircraft are placed into service in 2021.
“What made this project unique for us was working through numerous aircraft evaluations to meet the client’s needs, developing new technologies and modifications to install on a newly certified aircraft, and managing the process over the next five years,” says Nick Newby, Director of Jet Sales for Exclusive Aircraft Sales. “We have a uniquely diversified company that is rather uncommon in our industry which positioned us well to serve LPR’s needs.”
Fargo Jet Center and Spectrum Aeromed, both based at Fargo’s Hector International Airport, also bring an advantage for clients to collaborate in their main facilities, creating efficient conversations, problem-solving, and decision making.
“Together, with our long-term integration partners and Bombardier, Spectrum Aeromed creates a versatile solution that provides LPR with the flexibility required for their demanding life-saving missions. Teaming up with everyone involved will result in a new design, which truly will be a benchmark for future air ambulance cabins. In addition to aviation standards, it will also meet applicable European norms and provide for multiple innovations to improve the care of patients.” Thomas Redder, VP of International Sales.
