December 11, 2025 | Las Vegas, NV – Weather Modification International (WMI), a longstanding industry leader in atmospheric water management, will be attending the Colorado River Water Users Association (CRWUA) Conference, December 16-18 in Las Vegas, NV.
The annual CRWUA conference brings together over 1,500 water leaders, policy makers, and consultants from the Colorado River Basin states to hear updates and address major issues affecting the sharing, use and further development of the Basin’s water supply.
Darin Langerud, WMI Director of Meteorology, and Kala Golden, WMI Program Manager, will be attending the 80th annual conference to bring their knowledge of weather modification programs to attendees, based on decades of experience grounded in research and experience in the field.
“For over 60 years WMI has served as a trusted partner in weather modification efforts across the United States and globally. Our experience has helped agencies assess the capabilities and limitations of these programs and make informed decisions as they build broader water management strategies,” said Mark Skarohlid, Chief Operating Officer of WMI. “At this critical time for CRWUA members, we are proud to be a part of this event, supporting attendees with the vital work they do in their communities.”
